La Suerte Dance School

La Suerte Dance School, located at 58-60 Higher Ardwick, Manchester, is a vibrant hub for Latin dance. Founded in 2012 by the Salsa Manchester organization, the school was created to provide a dedicated space for daily dance classes. Salsa Manchester, which was established in October 2010, has been teaching Cuban Salsa and Bachata in a variety of locations across the city, including Cuba Cafe, Manchester University, and the Royal Northern College of Music.

While the salsa scene in Manchester has a surprisingly small presence despite a history stretching back 15-20 years, La Suerte Dance School is a welcoming place for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. The school offers a variety of classes for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. The curriculum focuses on popular styles like Salsa (especially Cuban style), Bachata, and Kizomba, with additional classes in related genres like Reggaeton, Son Cubano, and Cuban Rumba with a strong focus on allowing students to explore Cuban dance and culture. Beyond structured lessons, La Suerte is known for its strong community and regular social events, providing a fun and relaxed environment to practice and connect with fellow dancers.
